The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) provides up to 510 hours of basic English language tuition to migrants and refugees from non-English speaking backgrounds. The program is provided by the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs(DIMA) to help newly arrived migrants and refugees settle successfully in Australia.
